Job Description The Southeast Asia Collection of Yale University Library is seeking a student to assist in the receiving and processing of Burmese language material. Job responsibilities will include searching of local and union catalogs for copy cataloging records for this Burmese material and the creation of preliminary records in Romanized Burmese in the Voyager Acquisitions system.
Job Requirements Written knowledge and reading comprehension of the English and Burmese languages. Simple knowledge of computers and familiarity with library online catalogs. Reading knowledge of Burmese is required. Ability to lift heavy boxes and shelve library material. *Offer is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
Compensation $13.00/hour, Southeast Asia Collection Student Wage Budget
